If you can get to this bridge early enough in the morning before the fall sunshine is too bright in the sky, then a fun session will be had. Bonus if you can beat the mad dash of runners that take over the park on weekend mornings! Eeek.
Williamsburg is one of those neighborhoods that I've seen over the last 12 years (12 years?!!!) change and evolve so dramatically. And even back in the day when I was selling sweatshirts at Artist + Fleas (yep I totally did that in my past life), it was a fun place to be and explore (albeit a little rougher around the edges than it is now). I absolutely LOVE finding the small, interesting, and unique corners of this hood. Maybe for your next session we can explore there (or anywhere really) together!
If I were to live in Manhattan I'd pick the West Village to be my neighborhood. It always wins my heart when I'm there, and I keep getting drawn back for my mini sessions. The cutest corners and streets are to be had, and while we did a lot of people dodging from the late afternoon weekend crowd, we managed to sneak away with some cute family photos!
Hello New Year, and hello very neglected blog. Before I get down and get lost in the nitty gritty of all my slow season work, I'm going to try and update my long forgotten friend - my blog. While I wont be posting all my sessions from summer and fall of 2017, I will try and do my best to create a well rounded "portfolio" of work for you to peruse at your leisure. Aaand I'm pretty sure no one cares about this except me (and google, as they like websites with new content). So here's mini session round one in DUMBO!
Back when the sun shone bright and the fall days were still warm. This day was especially bright because I got to hang with one of my favorite little dudes at this fun new garden - North Brooklyn Farms - in Williamsburg. Make sure you check it out in 2018 as this area is about to get some fun changes!
