These guys wanted to show NYC in a in-your-face kind of way for their last photo adventure with me before moving off to the calmer pastures of Canada. Times Square is great, but I'd say changing baby's clothes and having a snack in the subway station full of ads about erectile disfunction is about as New York as you can get ;)
One of my favorite sessions this winter. And we even had a warmish day to be outside for a quick minute!
A little over a month ago I was lucky enough to hang with this amazing family to capture some simple and sweet mama and daughter moments. Mama was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and is still fighting hard for her little girl. I'm always amazed at the strength of humans. What our hearts can bare. What we can tap into when we are suddenly forced to confront something head on. We have so much to learn from each other, especially those who are going through tougher times than us. And I'm so happy and feel blessed to have crossed paths with this beautiful mama and her family.
Sometimes certain sessions pop into my head, and today this one did. It's from way back in November, but there's something very bright and spring like about it. We lucked out with an exceptionally beautiful November day.
